Geared for children ages K5-12, our popular summer art camp sessions are offered from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. throughout the summer. Pre-care and after-care are also available for each session. Campers are instructed in a variety of visual and performing arts activities such as drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics, pantomime, improvisation and musical theater. On the final day of each camp, an exhibition of the work produced and a public performance is held for families and friends.
UPDATE: The Fine Art of Summer Camp 2020 Canceled
We are saddened to announce that the remaining camp sessions (Sessions 3-9, June 29-August 7) have been canceled. We realize that our community is being cautious due to the rising number of Covid-19 cases in the area, as are we, and this has affected enrollment. Our first priority is to protect the health and safety of our campers, instructors and counselors so we have come to the difficult decision to cut our camp season short.
Thank you for your support of the Art Museum of South Texas, and we hope you will visit us soon. Enjoy free admission all summer.
