Geared for children ages K5-12, our holiday art camp sessions are offered from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. during the week before Christmas. Pre-care and after-care may be available. Campers will take part in a variety of festive holiday projects and drama activities including the making of ornaments, decorations and gingerbread house as well as singing Christmas carols and using movement and music to play theater games.

*As the continued spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) is still a major concern, please know that, at the Art Museum of South Texas, the health and safety of our campers and
staff is a top priority. We continue to implement several measures to prevent the spread of the virus and protect all our campers. We also want to assure you that AMST staff
and camp leadership are staying up to date on the recommended guidelines from the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention), the ACA (American Camp Association), and our local health department. For the latest on mask requirements for campers, see our message below:

Mask Requirement for Campers

In our capacity as a private non-profit organization, the Art Museum of South Texas strongly recommends masks for the children participating in the Holiday Camp program, particularly if they are unvaccinated. We want to take all the precautions  we can to ensure the safety of all campers. Camp staff will be required to wear masks. Thank you for your cooperation.
