From the Heart of Intention

From the Heart of Intention is an exhibition of works of art by Latina artists in the Art Museum’s permanent collection.  These works are a wide variety of creative examinations of life and images derived from the processes they employed to make them. These artists give us insight into how they view their life experience and what their art brings to the experience of art making and interpretation.

This grouping of images in painting, photography, installation, and serigraphy shows aspects of a story that the viewer is invited to experience. Each human having experienced childhood, can identify profound depictions of what is both familiar often dreamlike, and presented through a lens of imaginative expression.

This exhibition will be on view through February 25, 2024 in the Meadows Gallery.
