This unique exhibition explores the ongoing 100 plus year history of original rare animation production artwork since the creation of this magical art form.  From the elaborate and demanding creative processes of the groundbreaking animators to the incredible work that went into animated productions of today, the exhibition traces the evolution.  Featured are: the early silhouette experimental animation, magical hand-carved wood replacement stop motion animation, the world-renowned creation of Mickey Mouse, the incredible visionary work of King Kong’s creator, the life-like character stop motion animation, the zany gag-driven traditional animation, wacky and unconventional classic animated cartoon characters, and the stunningly colorful Japanese fantasy anime visions, this exhibition includes them all.  With the resurgence of animation used internationally by all walks of life from apps to games to television to feature films, animation in all its forms is truly a universal language.
