Bonus Monday Hours: Christmas Tree Forest: a Reading Wonderland

The Christmas Tree Forest is on view at AMST, with three bonusMondays in which AMST will be open: November 27, December 4, and December 11. Thirty school groups read an award-winning childhood classic book, created related decorations, and trimmed their trees accordingly. Visitors may cast their votes for their favorite trees, and the school groups with the most votes will receive generous H-E-B gift cards. After the exhibitionconcludes, all trees will be donated to families in need to enjoy during the remainder of the holiday season. The Art Museum of South Texas (AMST) and community partners, H-E-B and the Junior League of Corpus Christi come together each year to bring the community the Christmas Tree Forest exhibition. Admission is free for AMST members and for TAMU-CC students. General admission is $8 for adults, $6 for Seniors (age 65+), $4 for students, and free for children ages 12 and under.
