Mark your calendar now for June 8 and make plans attend artRageous!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: The Art Museum of South Texas’s main summer event, artRageous 2019: Manes and Markings is just around the corner on Saturday, June 8. This summer party promises to be a ferocious celebration of skin, scales, furs, feathers, tusks and tatts!

Shape, texture and color within the animal kingdom serve as unique identifiers.  Artists have studied the morphology of pattern and surface since the dawn of the dinosaur, and have often taken inspiration from wondrous animal life.  This year’s committee chairs, D’Anne Buquet and Cassie Kirkpatrick, were also inspired by wildlife and artRageous: Manes and Markings will be a rare and spirited event that will certainly deliver a roaring good time! Tickets for the event are on sale now online.
