Art Museum of South Texas Temporarily Closed Due to HVAC Repairs

Corpus Christi, TX- The Art Museum of South Texas will be closed today, Wednesday July 1, 2026 until further notice due to an unexpected air conditioning system outage in the Legorreta building.

While we know this may disrupt your plans, this temporary closure is necessary to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for our visitors, staff, and volunteers, as well as to protect the works of art in our care.

Our team is working closely with technicians to restore the system as quickly as possible. We’ll share updates on our reopening through the Art Museum of South Texas website and social media as soon as they’re available.

Young At Art Camp and the Fine Art of Summer Camp will continue as planned in the Johnson building.

We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding during this time and look forward to welcoming you back to the Museum very soon.
