Our next docent training is on Monday, September 8th from 10AM – Noon. The focus of this session will be our newest exhibitions: Quarter Turn- TAMUCC Art + Design Biennial Exhibition, Arcadian Enclosures by Jason DeMarte, and South Texas Art League as well as several upcoming permanent collection exhibitions.

We welcome the volunteer services of our docents and continually seek to build our docent base. Docents provide guided tours in the Museum for children and adults. It is not necessary to have an academic background in art or history to join our program. Training is conducted quarterly by curatorial staff.
