Visionarios Youth Art Contest Family Day & Awards Presentation

THANK YOU TO THE PORT OF CORPUS CHRISTI FOR YOUR SUPPORT
OF THE VISIONARIOS YOUTH ART CONTEST

The 22nd annual Visionarios Youth Art Contest for students in grades 1-12 is sponsored by the Port of Corpus Christi and presented by the Art Museum of South Texas. This juried competition encourages young people to integrate the arts into core curriculum and provides an opportunity for them to be recognized for their efforts. Categories include Wet Media, Dry Media, Mixed Media, and Digital Arts/Photographic Media. Each entry includes a brief essay.

This year, 594 entries are being exhibited through May 7, 2023 in the Art Museum galleries. Of these, 89 students received cash prizes, scholarships, and household memberships. All students and their families were honored at a special Family Day and Awards Presentation.

Participating school districts include Alice, Aransas Pass, Calallen, Corpus Christi, Flour Bluff, Gregory-Portland, Ingleside, London, Mathis, Port Aransas, San Diego, Sinton, and Tuloso-Midway as well as participation from numerous private schools, homeschools, and individuals.
