Free admission will be available throughout November and December at participating locations

H-E-B and H-E-B Tournament of Champions, in partnership with Visit Corpus Christi and the City of Corpus Christi, announced their ‘Explore More’ program, providing free admission during November and December to nine museums and attractions across the Gulf Coast. In Corpus Christi, this includes The Art Museum of South Texas, the Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History, the Texas State Museum of Asian Cultures and Education Center, and the South Texas Botanical Gardens and Nature Center.

Other museums within the Gulf Coast include The Texas Zoo, the Children’s Discovery Museum of the Golden Crescent, the Chisholm Trail Heritage Museum, the City by the Sea Museum, and the Matagorda County Museum.

This support aims to promote educational experiences and the cultural arts by providing local families and visitors with opportunities to enjoy these attractions during the holidays.

“We’re proud to expand our ‘Explore More’ initiative, bringing hands-on experiences and family-friendly activities to communities across the Coastal Bend,” said Beth Dattomo, Senior Manager of Public Affairs at H-E-B. “As long-standing supporters of these organizations, H-E-B remains committed to making educational enrichment and discovery more accessible—because we believe when it comes to Texans helping Texans, learning should be within everyone’s reach.”

Throughout November and December, free general admission will be available at the participating organizations (free dates vary upon organization – more information can be found on H-E-B’s Explore More website linked above). Additional programming at these organizations may be subject to a fee.

“Visit Corpus Christi is elated to champion H-E-B on the ‘Explore More’ initiative,” said America Segura, Director of Communications for Visit Corpus Christi. “This collaboration arrives at an ideal time, enhancing our tourism shoulder season by spotlighting experiences that are not only enriching and entertaining but also economically accessible—now being offered completely free for the next two months. It also inspires our residents, who often host visiting friends and relatives during the festive months of November and December, to rediscover and enjoy Corpus Christi’s diverse offerings alongside their out-of-town guests.”
