The exhibit will be open to the public from November 22, 2025 through January 4, 2026. This community tradition features 30 literary-themed Christmas trees created by local student groups and youth organizations who decorate each tree based on selected literature.

Thanks to support from H E B, museum admission is free for all visitors throughout November and December.

The public is invited to attend a special Free Family Day event on Saturday, December 13, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Activities include: H E B goody bags, Photos with Santa, Live entertainment, Art activities, Outdoor activities, DJ ERO SOL, Food trucks, and more!

Celebrating Literacy and Youth Creativity the Christmas Tree Forest highlights the importance of reading and encourages students to connect literature with visual design.
