DESCRIPTION:Join us on the Second Saturday of each month for free admission\, docent-led tours\, artist demonstrations\, art activities in the galleries courtesy of Art Bridges Foundation! The Art Museum is open 10am-5pm. With art activities beginning at 12:30pm ending at 4:30pm. DESCRIPTION:Third Thursday: Presented by AEP and organized by Weird Corpus. 3rd Thursdays are AMST’s FREE monthly community artisan parties! Each month visitors will have a different theme and idea to explore. While FREE admission lasts all day 10am-9pm\, vendors arrive and the evening’s events begin at 5:30pm. \nOn the third Thursday of each month visit AMST for an evening view of our galleries\, live music\, local vendors\, guest appearances\, poetry readings\, surprise performances\, and one-of-a-kind art activities. DESCRIPTION:Exhibition The Wyeths: Three Generations | Works from the Bank of America Collection opening with Art Unboxed. Learn more about the exhibition here. Art Unboxed is AMST’s lunch + lecture series. Lunch will be available at 12 noon\, talk will begin 12:30pm \nOur speaker is Dr. Andrew J. Walker  \nJoin us in the H-E-B Theater for Art Unboxed\, a boxed lunch and lecture with the Executive Director of the Amon Carter Museum of American Art\, Andrew J. Walker\, PhD. He has served as Executive Director of the Amon Carter since April 2011. His previous work experience includes the Assistant Director for Curatorial Affairs and Curator of American Art at the Saint Louis Art Museum. He has held curatorial positions at the Missouri History Museum and the Art Institute of Chicago\, and he received his doctorate in Art History from the University of Pennsylvania. \nVisitors may enjoy their lunch in the H-E-B Theater while listening to the presentation and discussion.
