Celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Christmas Tree Forest presented by H-E-B, the Junior League of Corpus Christi and the Art Museum of South Texas!  This year’s theme of A Reading Wonderland gives students, teachers and families in the Corpus Christi area the opportunity to foster a love of reading and to promote critical thinking and creativity through exploration of award-winning literature and illustrations.

On view through December 16th, the trees and decorations are donated to area families in need to enjoy for the remainder of the holiday season. While on view, visitors are encouraged to vote for their favorite tree; H-E-B gift cards will be awarded to the 3 trees with the most votes.

A FREE FAMILY DAY event will be held on December 14, 10am – 2pm. The first 2,000 children will receive an H-E-Buddy goodie bags, as well as an H-E-B lighted Christmas necklace.  Other activities include photos with Santa, live holiday music, hands-on art projects, storytime with Mrs. Claus, food trucks and more.

School group tours of 10 or more can view the Christmas Tree Forest for 50 cents a person.  Call or email the AMST Education Department at 361.825.3504 or AMSTed@tamucc.edu for more information.
