Artists from Degas to Calder were drawn to and inspired by the circus at varying points in their careers – not just for its spectacle and intriguing imagery, but for the melancholy, alienation, and oddity the circus often represented. Pulling inspiration from the curiosities and imagery depicted in 19^th and 20^th century circus life, artRageous: Cirque du Fear will present a three-ring circus filled with inner liberation, exploration of fears, and the mystique of entertainment.

ATTIRE: Don’t be shy! Join us in your best sideshow or circus-themed outfit to enter into the annual artRageous costume contest! Winners will be dubbed artRageous Best in Show and will get their names added to the artRageous award, PLUS 2 General Admission tickets to next year’s artRageous.
