We’re coming home!  The Art Museum of South Texas will host ARTBALL 2018 on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2018, at the MUSEUM! We could not think of a better architectural jewel to hold this premiere annual fundraiser. ARTBALL will provide crucial financial support to bring the finest exhibitions and educational programs serving over 25,000 children each year. ARTBALL, formally known as Gala, will also include a pre-event Glow Dinner – an intimate soirée and special benefit for sponsors only – followed by ARTBALL – where the party hits its stride.

  1. Glow Dinner: This elegant dinner is a private “sponsors only” affair before the ARTBALL kicks off. Sponsorships provide a limited number of reserved seats (please review the attached Sponsorship Benefits or email Sara Morgan for more information). The Glow Dinner will be held in the Upper Gallery, where sponsors and their guests will enjoy an artful feast and intimate orchestral concert performance by classically trained violinist Bobby Yang.
  2. ARTBALL 2018: The party starts! In addition to a one-of-a-kind bioluminescent experience, heavy hors d’oeuvres, host bar, silent art auction, and a bid-board for exciting packages, ARTBALL will also feature the fabulous entertainment of Bobby Yang and his live jam band, BPM, playing Top 40, Motown, classic country, hip-hop, EDM, and indie rock.

Event Co-Chair Jessica Gignac’s enthusiasm for the event is contagious, “We are melding the best parts of our innovative artRagous summer parties with the spectacular style of the traditional gala.” The result transforms the traditional concept of a gala into a 21st century bioluminescent celebration of art.

The Art Museum is a growing, lively aspect of Corpus Christi. As the region’s economy flourishes, the community must prioritize the educational and cultural contributions AMST delivers to South Texas. ARTBALL places our mission at the center of the evening’s activities and delivers on fun in the process. Sponsorships for ARTBALL start at $5,000. Individual tickets are $250 and are on sale now by visiting www.artmuseumofsouthtexas.org.
